Going to pick up my First Zed in a few hours! I can't remember the last time I was this excited since I was a kid lol

I'm not going for the other one, that fell through, I'm off to pick up a 91 Manual Wine Red 2+2 53,000 MILES certified, Tubby timer and some other bits as well. Can't wait for the drive home Woohoo! Although I'm going to take it easy for a long time until I get used to the big power and rear wheel drive. I have a healthy respect for this car and don't want to spank it as soon as I get it

Just thought I'd let you guys know you'll have another member soon now I got my hands on one, I'll post pics as soon as I can :D

TODAY IS A GOOD DAY!!!!

I'd also like to thank everyone who took the time to answer my questions and not treat me like a nOOb, it was much appreciated. Respect to you all.

See you on the roads!

Jon.

Good luck with it mate.

Nice one John

On these 91 models you don't need to worry about warming them up. And if it's wet, don't be afraid to floor it in the corners.

Welcome and hope you become a long term member. Sounds a nice one. Just remember the power and give it respect if you've been used to something less vicious.

Remember stock traction control is "lift your foot off the loud pedal fast" type especially during a brown trousers moment and more so after coming off a wet roundabout a little too fast!

Some peeps get paralysed and leave it down while the lamp post tries to get through the passenger door. They seem to think they can drive out of it!

And if it's wet, don't be afraid to floor it in the corners.

from experience i would say thats pretty stupid :slap: especially in th wet :nono:

but then i dont drive an NA  ;)

You all know I'm joking, I hope.

Besides, in the lighter, better handling NA a bit of sideways action's never a problem like the overweight, unreliable turbo model. ;)

Jon - I'm joking here - but I'm sure you know that. Always warm it up and go easy if it's slippery.

Enjoy the car!

Yeah, because that way the lamp post connects with the drivers door instead of the passengers... ;)
