white smoke, noisey autobox

Just got back from the coast. on way i floored accelerator to overtake two cars, on full boost(stock gauge) but when releasing accelerator on over-run saw cloud of white smoke in mirror  went for another overtake and same happened again, only did it on full throttle.

stopped in pub car park and opened bonnet to find that the dipstick had popped out a little and hot oil was spitting out!!

after drowning sorrows in pub drove home (bout 30miles) but this time no matter how hard i gunned it no smoke. however i think i'm getting really paranoid cos when i slowed near home i could smell a clutch burning smell and the auto box seemed noisier than normal

Think i might be losing the plot. the car's been perfect since i've had it for almost a year. now the warrenty (for wot its worth) is about to run out i think its sarting to fall apart around me.

would be grateful for any help, advice.

oh and if your about james300 thinked i jinxed it when i told u there were no problems at all with it yesterday

cheers

Most likely the distick was not fully in when checked previously, the full throttle driving has just shown it up thats all.

The auto box problem may be just a bit of paranoia because of the oil problem but keep an eye it anyway.

Re check the dipstick. It will pop out with the pressure if its overfilled. - Mine did it.
