Installed a new cam belt and tensioner yesterday and will be trying it tonight.

If it wasn't the belt that's slipped then it's likely the engine is fooked

So which do you think it is? LOL

 Not again Chris FFS! Hope it's OK.

A gallon of petrol and a match should see you trouble free mate:D;)

Oh forgot to say that thing is possesed by the Devil

fooked! :( (not really! :D)

i take it the cam timing was out? what had caused it??

Chris! LOL

It was out by 1 or 2 teeth on the crank at most

The belt looked like new but I put the new one on and replaced the tensioner which looked almost as rusty as Duffer's Z :D

The new belt is definately tighter now.

Just got to put the rad back in tonight and flick that key

Not looking forward to it but fingers crossed

Did we have lift off?

Yeah, is the silver dream liberaceatay MO FO racer sorted or what? Heee heeeeeeee

Yeah its sorted.... All thanks to some so called dodgy one mand band type affair in the NW

What you fixed it? LOL

Oh yes it's sorted!

I decided not to test it beyond 160mph on the way to Trax but I think it's running OK :D

Nice one Chris, glad to hear it bud...oh and well done to that back street garage in the NW that sorted it out for you! :D ;)

Somehow it got fixed but the on-site service was crap and they give Duff information.

Cheeky ****er :slap: Next time I'm telling you its your widget valve at fault  Oh and thanks for sorting my idle problem too  LMAO ;)

LOL, Andy can you fix my coolant leak please?

why whats up with it?

You know, from eons ago. It's still not fixed yet!

 no pressure build up?

I don't know bud, I need to get the MO FO MOT'd first but soon as I've done that can I dump it on you? I think it could be a pipe round the back of the engine, maybe a turbo coolant feed pipe but am getting p1$$3d off with it sitting on the drive doing nothing! LOL Either that or it's going in favour of me getting an R6 instead...try racing that f\/cker in a Z...game over! ;)

Yeah sure can take a look m8. Probably best to just bypass the TBs wrt coolant. Eliminates virtually all the hoses under the plenum.... which was nice :D Could do a special on a polished plenum too if you wanted ;)

Nice one bud, as soon as I get tut back tyres, new windscreen and MOT I'll arrange to bring it up to Duff Towers. Cool! Cheers geezer.

Ok m8, see you in 2006 then :D;)

Yeah that'll do fine mate, see you in the future! LOL :D

;)
