Just tried to use my Kazza Lite and it seems that one of the files has been deleted so cant use it so tried to download it again and now it wants me to pay for it! WTF! Anyone else had this happen?

Yeah, this site is great!

If you have used adaware or other spyware prog, it may have deleted one of the files. Kazza lite uses a dummy spyware file which is harmless, but adaware thinks its the real file used in kazza normal version. Other than that- re-install

That's bang out of order. What a cheek - trying to charge for software which allows you to steal other people's copyrighted material.

 

Next thing they'll be arresting people for nicking people's cars.

I have Kazaa lite installation file on my computer if you want it. It is pointless though, as Kazaa have changed the servers so old programs connect to ones which are hardly used. I only got 100,000 people listed when I logged on last

Thanks guys. Yes did run both adware aand spybot programs recently so thats prob whats happenned. Found 245 "spys". SH*T!!!!!!!

If you have broadband then get a bittorrent client, then go to suprnova.org and download Album after album...... Broadband is best 'cos the files are usually big, whole albums, films etc. Also try edonkey for singles.

 

Of course I don't do it myself. Some bloke down the pub told me how just after he fell off the back of a lorry.

Download that. It will install an application which opens any *.torrent file you click on in your browser. It will then ask you where you wish to save it to your hard drive, and it downloads. Once finished, it will be a recognisable *.mp3 file or .vob for dvd burning etc. The good thing about bittorrent is that the more people that share files, the quicker it is to download, unike kazaa, where you can be queued for hours.
