Does anyone think that a lot of member registered before ~mid 2002 have a really rosey memory of the forum past, should we have an extra forum area called "ReminiscenZe" or something where they can all **** over Senna et al and the great contraversial comments?

I registered when Warren was around and it seems everyone hated him bar a couple, now he and similar others are legends of the forum past to be hailed before bedtime... I bet he's sitting in SA with his alias username looking mighty smug

yea then some fooker put there pykey caravan on it a Duff  :p

It's funny you say/ask this, as I was only thinking this earlier. They seem to be saying it isnt what it used to be............................... Which is a good point, as there is nothing like the Good 'ol Days.

But then you have to except 'New Blood' (NO, not 'First Blood' with Sly ;))

Warren was amusing. To say that almost everyone hated him seems a bit harsh!

I suppose those of us "oldies" who haven't left do still hark back to the old days. The fact is that in some ways it was better then.

On the other hand, there are things that are a lot better now - traders, etc

Just because something's newer, doesn't make everything about it better. Take the 350Z as an example. ;)

This place still rocks! It was good before, it's just as good, if not better now!! We still have most of the same old rows and moans, but there's more of us these days :p

Some of the old awkward tossers have been replaced with new awkward tossers :mac1: Most of the old 'legends' were in their little cliques, same as now.

I'd say there are a lot more 'funnies' on here now compared to when I joined.

In fact, one of the main reasons I have stayed on since June 2002 is because of all the rows that have ALWAYS kicked off on here! :hyper: :slap: :nono: :hyper:

This place is peaks and troughs........a big row blows up, everyone gets all righteous and indignant, throws their toys out of the pram and threatens to leave. Then it all goes a bit quiet for a while then settles down, ready for the next big kick-off! :D

Well I'd like to be an optimist, but I doubt I ever will be :D

To be fair, Duffer does generally follow up on his threats and leaves. ;)

Happily, he tends to come back sooner or later. :duffer:
