Heard from a mate that a local 'garage' was flogging a 1990 TT Zed...

 

So I head down there to take a peek :dance: ......

 

 

Upon arrival I noticed a lovely set of deep dish 3 spoke Rays Engineering allys on it :) ...closer look.....TT Auto in silver 2+2 T bar....closer still....paint flaking off bumpers, cracks, big dents/chips in bonnet (from the inside!), split front/rear bumpers, rusty zorsts....thought heres a cheepie...went inside to see the boss man...he said its been sitting for just over 2 years, rusty disks, siezed H/Brake, smokes badly upon start up.

 

The story goes it is a customers that has had a new engine and wont pay the bill for work done...going through court at the moment blah blah blah...

 

Well, he said if it is still there in three months I can have first refusal...so I'm waiting for a bargain price....bear in mind bad cosmetic condition, smokey lump, no tax, no mot, fecked brakes 'G' reg, sitting for a million years. He said 'strictly sold as seen, no guarantees, waranty etc'......all for a bargain price of....

 

£4000 feckin grand! :xxx: said he'd take no less!!!!

offer him a 1k and sell the parts for 1.5k :)

 

but seriously with no warranty 4k is over the hill for something that could blow up and cost you the same again to repair ............WALK AWAY

:( as people all ways say "dont buy the first one ya see mate" I know there isn't many down that neck of the woods, so why not buy 1 from the forum...;)

Not a bad idea - you could probably make most of that back on the wheels :)
