does your Hicas light come on by any chance ??? that is the coneector/cable that goes to the top of the power steering reservoir to the right of your hand

Aye, my first Z was like that - no bulb because the light was on.. Damned cheapass importer in my case :mac1:

 

The wire might not have been cut though btw - they get constantly twisted and untwisted when you take off the PAS reservoir cap, and eventually they just break (if you're unlucky)

hi mate, is urs an auto? cos i thought that was a speed sensor connector that goes under to the gearbox....how does the car drive?

Yes it is an auto. drives fine, steering/speedo ect all good. Did an auto box diag and got revolution sensor error. :(

cool, get rev sensor checked out if its comin up with fault. cos mine was f'd too should feel a lot smoother when rectified....
