http://www.adslguide.org.uk sort by 1mb and it will give you TCO for the year too. :D

Also dont go with anyone that caps the download limit, make sure that ur service is unlimited.

Go with Pipex been using them for years at both home and work.

They phone you if the line ever goes down to let you know when it will be back up !!!

go for ntl meg connection as all 1 meg users are being upgraded to 1.5 for free or go for the next one down as that gets upgraded to 1 meg i think

NTL can be a bit poo for support I have found, lots of my customers use them and a simple enquiry or change takes a looooooong time to get done (if at all) I always recommend Zen (ww.zenadsl.co.uk) thier support is the mutts and they are not too pricey....

as above pipex, never had a problem with it yet, and had it a LONG time

deffo not the cheapest, but your not tied into 12 month contracts

i was so impressed i had another broadband connection put in my sons room on his line:)

NTL are great until you need to contact the service team by phone, everything else im happy with

If you are BT then Freedom 2 Surf is great - been with them ages and no complaints yet and they always reply to emails promptly. Just mention I recommended you if you sign up!

used zen.co.uk for work for ages now - and been making loads of changes recently - they complete almost immediately and customer support is really good & quick. although to be honest, I don't know how the residential packages compare to others.
