Jeezus! I've got enough to do at work without putting up with yet another sodding scam! Got 'Official Notification' through the post today that that I am in breach of the Data Protection Act  They will be 'enforcing' it and taking me to court for failure to register, and I will be getting a fine of £5,000.00 and a possible prison sentence

The only way out of it is to register NOW, by sending off this form with tons of info on, and sending it .........with a cheque for £135.00 made payable to 'Registration Fees'!

No contact numbers or proper addresses, just a pre-printed envelope with a PO box number on it.

I filled it in with a load of shit, made out a cheque for £135.00 from 'Muppetbank' on a post-it note and sent it back to them with no stamp. Probably won't get back to them anyway, but WTF.

I'm sure they're making loads from poor saps who fall for it. The whole thing does look quite official, so I'm sure someone will have :(

Heh, heh, heh! Did a great one a few years ago. Some absolute DICK of a con-artist customer of mine stitched me up for over £25,000. Gave me some big sob story blah, blah, blah........

I found out that he had stitched up LOADs of people, conning them out of their life savings on some get rich quick scheme  (he owed my company money for office rent and services)

Anyway, to cut a looooong story short, I found out that he had a convertable Aston Martin DB7. A friend of mine has some BIG rotwiellers, so we scooped all the shit out of his back yard, went round to the tossers house, ripped open his roof, and piled all the dog shit in there! :xxx:  :D

(of course I am making all this up officer ;) )

Theres an eBay one going around - an email claiming that your details are incorrect and could lead to the suspension of your account and so on, but if you read the mail carefully there's some poor punctuation and spelling, and they spell the company Safeharbor (instead of Safeharbour). :mac1:

My prefered technique is to 'windmill' in, preferably holding a heavy ashtray.
