Don't race her on the twisty's unless you really got you chasis sorted or you'll get your arse kicked. On the staight she'll just disapear in your rear veiw. Anyway whats her name, is she fit or is it a it? Another hair dresser?

Eh ? Where did the 'she' bit come from, or are you suggesting that a Boxter is a gurlies car ;)

No I'm not suggesting anything Andy. I'm merely stating a fact :slap:  .

The the 2.7s is her Porshe and the 911 TT is his though they do make a

4.2 TT Boxter now which would defo be a his car.

I carn't help it I'm just a good old fashioned Male chauvinist and thats the way I like it :D ;)

Since when have they made a TT Boxster?! News to me...

The Boxster S is a 3.2 with 250bhp,

Much quicker car than the standard Boxster 2.7 with 217bhp.

I wouldn't be expecting to wup it unless you have some mods as they are lighter cars with great handling.

And it's a Porche, Nuff said :D

(Still dreaming of a 911)

I'll have a look at my mags as cannot remember if it was at the begining of this year or anounced for the Italian Motor Show that production would start this spring. Special order and not just off the shelf.

I remember they tested it at Rockingham and the reporter was saying just what I thought. Which is, its a cheeper version of the new 911 TT. Still about £65,000 though.

P.S He said 2.7 , but I'd still fancy the Z in standard form beating the 3.2 in a staight line even if it didn't blow it away. Not a cat in hells chance of a standard Z beating either on the twistys. Though I hope all my sreering, brakes and suspension upgradeds would give me a fighting chance. Engine mods I've now got should blow most Porches away.

Boxster TT

you been on the shandy again Mark

Im sure porsche said they would never make a boxter turbo. As when they made a 944 turbo it undermined the 911.

Kamart already do a Factory conversion for them with the square 4 TT I believe. It may be this I've read, but you have to buy it through Porche dealers.

I'll try and sorce the artical. The car they tested was a dark green and it was defo at Rockingham and the claimed 420 BHP.

PMSL that you assumed its a girl, kinda what I was thinking too! Actually a bloke though!! I'll make a point of a race on a straight bit of road then!

BTW just confirmed its the 2.7, he wanted the S but didnt want a flappy padle gearbox, plus 20k is more than enough to spend on a hair-dressing wagon.
