I am afer a new BBS centre cap but am told that I need a KBA number or somthing to order in a new one. I have looked on my wheels and cannot see such a number. I have been told this is likely to be because the wheels are from BBS Japan.

 

I'm sure the caps will be the same and won't make a difference if they come from Japan or Europe.

 

I would just like to chat to someone with similar BBS wheels and see if there is any difference in the way the caps go on etc.

 

Anyone on here have these wheels on there Zed?

I reckon they are the same centre caps as on my older BBS Cross spokes. Have a look and see what ya reckon.

From what I can see of yours they look the same to me, have they got a crinkled edge around them so they match in with the ends of the spokes ????

Yeah, they do look similar. I do have the metal surround so I dont need to worry about matching that up, its just the decorative centre but I need.

Yeah, they have which would make matching up a bit harder but seeing I have this as I said above that is not a problem.

No worries matey leave it with me and when I get my car back (Hopefully tomorrow night or Thursday) I will check it out for you..

Have a word with Baggins on this forum as I know he has just removed the remaining 3 of his centre caps after losing one of them. I know his wheels are RAYS Alloys but I am sure that the hexagonal centres are the same size, aal you would have to do then is spray the center cap black and carefully paint on the BBS ??? Worth a go ???

Mines are BBS and the centre cap is the big nut type that screws in with the piece that covers the wheelnuts. Mine is silver in the centre tho. My local wheel guy can get BBS stuff. I asked about the stainless steel rim parts but they said the wheels need to go back to Germany to fit them as they must be split and only BBS will do it at £600 for 4 and no wheels for several weeks so I put up with a few scratches from kerbs.

Oh right, my centre nuts are silver and black with the alternate flat edges painted gloss black. Do you have a number for your guy as most people I have tried including BBS UK themselves have been useless!

Right then Justin here are the 2 part numbers.

1st the number on the inside of the Black centrepiece that has the BBS logo in the centre is 0924152 and the crinkly outside trim that matches up with your spokes is 0924028. OK mate hope this helps good luck.

Oh and the black plastic centre also has this written on the back;-

BBS, Made in Japan, 56 24 073 Disk PMMA, Fluke PPE. again hope this helps you ???

I would love to see the pics and see how good a match they are to mine. I could then use the numbers you gave me to perhaps get a new one sorted from BBS.
