2. 100 Supercool, Superfast, Supermean Street Machines, Burning serious rubber down the strip.

 

3. Cannonball Pit Area? Can you imagine the photo opportunities!!

50 quid for four different events and admitting 2 adults and as many sprogs as you can get in the motor!

versus.. hmm let me see 85 quid for ten of the best.. 85 quid for the average track day mentioned on Piston Heads or.. 12 quid and 15 quid per adult at Santa pod for 3 runs.(in 8 hours on my last experience!)(thats 42 quid for 2 guys in a car for those of you unable to do the maths!)

 

If you can't see the value here then you have a problem.

 

And besides which profits of this event go to GREAT ORMOND STREET HOSPITAL not some fat cat drag strip owner!

To say I am disappointed in your club's attitude is an understatement. Sorry kirbz, but it has to be said.. and after all that mouthing off about how you guys were all so dead keen to kick the GTO Club's arse on a head to head track day. So far.. only one 300zx has entered and thats after cockney playboy persauded the new owner of his old car to come! A chap I believe is not even a club member(though i am happy to be corrected here!)

 

I understand that to some people who live miles away its a long trip and may be one too many in a season full of events, thats a fair point.. and is constructive feedback.

 

Anyway good luck for the future everyone.. and may you enjoy many years of trouble free motoring from your cars.

David, I'm sure there's a lot of us who'd like to go, me being one as I should have mine on the road by then! But that weekend is booked with the missus.

 

With most people just back from Billing you'll find the enthusiam for another track day/show a bit waning. Price wise, as you say, it's a deal for a couple & carfull of kids, but one person on their own it might be a bit rich for their blood.

 

Also huge letters does't go down well on a lot of forums especially from a new/low poster! the response would have been a bit more amiable if you had contacted one of the moderators and asked him to make the post on your behalf.

 

All the best for the show, and I'll be looking out for some coverage of it.

Wow it's only like 48 miles away from me is there a web site with all the info on. Also how many people have you already got down for this.
