Sounds like its fooked mate :(

Sounds like it's either faulty or the file system is corrupt.

There should be a format option on your camera but if that doesnt work then it's probably dead.

If you have a PC with a card reader try formatting it with that too as sometimes they can access it when the camera can't.

;)

Mrs had this problem a few weels ago, took it to a camera expert and found out the card was fooked!!! And, it killed the camera!!!

James, if you dont have a reader I may have one to fit. If you get stuck gimme a shout.

This happens to my cards some times. Do what they said above. Format the card using the format option on the camera

Hmmmm.....doesn't seem I have the option to format the card, unless I am being stupid, which is a possibility! Its only a pretty cheap camera, entry level Fuji. Is it only the more expensive camera's where you can do that? The card is only 6 months old, 128mb though, so was about £60 iirc.

Mines a Fuji and will format a card.

1. turn on camara in camara mode

2. go to menu

3. go to options (mine is the last icon on right with set on th e icon in blue)

4. go to setup

5. select format, 3rd one down on mine

6. format the card.

Thanks for that, but no, def not got the FORMAT option on mine. My mate here at work has got a Fuji that can format so will give that a go in a bit.

You can pic up multi-format card readers for about a tenner now so might be worth getting one anyway.

They come in quite handy when you lose your camera lead too!

You may be able to do it from your pc if you have the software that came with it.

Next step was doing it via the pc but I've put it in my mates Fuji and its all sorted, nice one!! I'm well pleased.
