Hi! Not sure if I'm correct here, just joined the group.
A solid 2 months ago I bought a lovely 1997 300ZX Z32 in a beautiful purple color. It's been a great car so far and I love it with all my soul as it's the first sports car I've owned since I am only 20 🤣
I did encounter a problem yesterday after work though. My front windshield wipers always worked with no problem, showing no signs of giving up. Then, on my way home from work, as I turned them on in the rain, they swiped once and then stopped working. I pulled over to check if turning the car on and off would solve it, which it didn't. I was able to freely move them around but as soon as they reached the top position (vertically infront of my view), they blocked there completely.
I replaced the fuse and checked the relay, both of which don't seem to have any issues. When I try to turn the wipers on, all I hear is the motor or the relay seemingly clicking twice before going quiet.
The washers however work, and tge rear wiler as well with no issues.
What could the problem be?

Hi guys,
As it's not a zed so I figure this is the place to put this (move if not)
If you’re looking for those bits 'n' pieces for the shed:
L reg. Vauxhall Astra merit (1994)
1.4 petrol
Mileage = 130500
MOT until September 2004
Long/regular service history
Blown head gasket - hence immobile.
Otherwise mechanically good
New water pump, new(ish) belts, good battery, tyres good all round (plenty of tread)
Body work - good condition (white) - some stone chips, scraps
Interior - good condition (blue)
This was a good workhorse until it when bang.
I'm looking to be rid of the whole car so will not break for parts
If there is demand, it'll go to highest bidder...
"winner" collects - Bicester in Oxfordshire
Advertised elsewhere.
Then I can get back to a real car - the zed :D
PM me for further info/photo's
