If any of you guy have XBOX's, just chipped mine and stuck a 120gig Hard drive it, easy as piss,

now i pop down the video shop rent a game for the night and stuff it on the hard drive lol

Faisal, I would'nt get the slimline one chipped yet, as they over heat and pack up, both the chip and the ps2, wait a few months untill it gets sorted.

My son chips ps2 and Xbox's, and the last 3 slim ps2 have gone wrong, "overheating".

The chips need to be redesigned so they dont draw so much current, it wont be long just keep looking around on the net. If you need anymore advice pm me and i will pass it on to my son.

Chris - what did you use for cutting the case. I got a junior hacksaw blade, some sand paper and a fine circular file. Didn't get on too well with the blade though :( Fan arriving today (hopefully :D)!!

used a small dill and drilled lost of hole in a circle and then a barell sander

ahhhh sounds like a plan.... will try that later on when i get home from work !!
