Just curious. I love the look of the Crossfire but the figures of 215Bhp and 0-60 of 6.9 - it doesn't sound as if there is much power there! Shame as I think it looks better than the 350z. So maybe the answer is exchange the crossfire's mechanical bits for the 350z bits!

Has anyone actually test driven one?

Geoff.

I think it looks horrid too. There is one at the bottom of our street. Looks like a squatting dog from the back

its a yank.

I like the look of them from the back - they copied my wide arches :D

They did get a bit of a slating from the press but my boss has one and loves it.

There's a supercharged version coming out soon - ;)

Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6 (SRT=Street and Racing Technology, 6=number of cylinders), this new sporting machine is offered in both coupe and convertible versions. Beneath the Chrysler Crossfire SRT-6’s grooved hood rumbles a hand-built, Mercedes-Benz 3.2-liter SOHC V6 engine supercharged to make 330 horsepower while burning premium unleaded fuel. With barely more than 3,100 pounds to motivate, this should give the Crossfire SRT-6 plenty of muscle. To get an idea of what this same motor did for the old Mercedes-Benz SLK 32 AMG, that car accelerated from 0-60 mph in about five seconds and blazed through the quarter-mile in about 13.2 seconds.

Yeah Clarkson did and sait it was terrible

PMSL :)

Yep and the God guru of motoring journalism predicted years ago that the Alpine Renault was a cracking motor and what happened? They sold f\/ck all! LOL :)

I love Jezza to bits, he's ace but he's a critic so don't take what they say for dollar value!

What cracks me up about the great one is that he buys a Ferrari and slates it, then takes ownership of a bo11ox Kirk and he slates that aswell. Well to be fair he slates the Dealers! Well what did you expect Jezza? Driving them around a track for the day is ace, anyone would wanna do that, but actually owning them for more than 24hrs is another story entirely! ROFL :)

Oh and if you want a knicker splitter, Mrs T was well impressed with the Crossfire, she hated the RX-8 which at our local dealership is parked up next to one another! LOL :)

Personally I wanted the RX-8, purely on the fact it had featured in a Brittney video and X-Men II!!! PMSL :)
