I agree that it isn't right, the Sun go too far and people shouldn't go to these stupid extremes.

Those things are entirely true - we do believe in fair play and we do expect respect from the officials.

 

What we don't like are biased referees and opposition players who go down like they've been shot and roll around only to jump up as soon as the free kick is awarded.

Yes, the defender stood on his foot FROM BEHIND - and given it was right on the byline he must have been last man as well - therefore HE should be SENT OFF.

 

So what happens? Free kick AGAINST Rooney.
