what do you think of the new aluminium dash?

Looks good, have you sprayed it? Done the same to mine. I would to the centre strip though above the radio din.

sprayed and lacquered it, wasn't too sure about that bit, wanted some contrast, might do it only take 30 mins

Aluminium sheet cut to accept the Tech-Edge display, the lights of the KnockLink (front of the casing was removed)and AVC-R. Fascia secured with allen key bolts. TBH it's not staying. Now I'm (fingers crossed) going ahead with the in-car computer install, I can do away with the need for a head unit so I'm currently drawing up a few designs with a view to completely replacing the centre console!

well the Alpine screen only cost me £530 would work well with a pc unit

Slim - I bought it 2nd hand from a member on here, I was very lucky. Its a Navan shifter.......if you find it for sale anywhere make sure you are sitting down when you see the price!
