S2000's are rapid make no mistake about that, but up against a Twin Tub? I dunno about that.

 

Taking into account that Hairsy mentioned gettin' it on with Craig in his TreVoR, Craig driving Daves' TVR and Dave in Craigs' Z, right laugh that must have been but Dave said it was pretty evenly matched.

 

To my knowledge Craig hasn't done OTT modding on his Z either.

 

What are the figures on the S2000? Not so sure that a N/A wouldn't give it a good run for its money either. N/A is 200+ bhp isn't it?

By the time I've finished with my car it'll be doing 1/4 mile in 4.2 secs at 265 mph...so contest is well and truly over for the whole car world...go home to the wife, dog, guinea pig, blow-up doll or whatever...MY Z WILL ROCK THE WORLD!!!

I've never been in an S2000 and nor have I raced one but I have a 91 Z TT, I have driven a Supra TT and a 300BHP Celica GT4 - all 3 all very close in acceleration up to 100mph - however,

 

there is no comparison for CC and cylinders.

 

I mean come on, 2000cc in line 4 versus 3000cc V6 TT, I SAY AGAIN 3000CC V6 TT...

 

May get to 100 quick but would like to see what happens after that.

The S2000 is a nice car, but only has a similar power output to a NA 300ZX i.e. 237bhp and the torque figure is ONLY 153ftlbs!

OK, it's a lighter car, but I can't see there being a contest with a stock! TT once past the 1/4 mile and 100mph!

Autocar recorded 0-60 in 5.6/100 in 14.3/top speed 147mph for the S2000.
