Should there be any reason why Maccas should produce something near that amount?

I guess it depends on the colour too. IIRC Black zeds are limited to 500BHP. I can well believe the claims if it is red :)

Anyone have any objection if I move this to General as this section is for member dyno results. Which are actually real BHP ;)

here here :)

And i,ll p*ss all over him in my ball and chains astra on a wet day whats the point in all that when u cant use it on a typical earth day !!!!!

LOL, Yeah if he's a kak driver and only knows two pedal positions, on and off ;).

can i just say that as far as i can tell z1 motorsports is a well respected company.

i believe it - as in i dont believe they would make it up.

it will be run on race gas which will let them run much higher boost than UK road octane. i'm not sure if there are any other differences between US and UK spec

why not give the guy the benefit of the doubt - it is possible to set up a car to perform really well on a dyno and the performance wouldnt be realised in real life.

My personal point of view is that the 2835 is a very good turbo capable of flowing enough air to get this sort of bhp figure - i find it even more interesting watching the GT-RS develop which is a basically a 2835 / 2540 hybrid with lighter fans. It should be capable of almost this power with a much better spool up.

Anyone want to buy my TD05-16G's ??

p.s. look at the 744 RWHP (US) using NOS - that would be quick

got to say - why are we doubting every big BHP car that comes out of the states??

not that i guess they would care what we think, but its a bit insulting for us to keep saying there lying about their power output.

now if it was a Supra that was banging out that power then fair enough if we all took the piss, but these are other zeds FFS!! we should be congratulating them!!

good luck to em i say :)

I think the one that made me laugh is the 740 rwhp one running 555 injectors  as far as i was aware 555 cant puch anywhere near that kind of fuel to get that much power.

Notch another american Bull Horse Power

yeah I was actullay taking the pi$$ when I said real BHP. I have not doubts about the big BHP yank cars and never have.

It would be interested to see what one of our cars could get over there though just for comparrison.

tho to be fair - that is with NOS which is prob running additional injectors

Hi Mike,

i dont know what the 555's can flow but he would have been injecting fuel into the mainfold with the wet NOS system. This could theoetically get past the maximum limit of the 555's.

an idea might be to nip over to the pod and fill up with race gas - see what the dynos look like on that :)

Paul I just picked up on a couple of things on both those vids.

The 744rwhp was running 500+ then a squirt of Nos on the intercoolers sudenly gave it 200 horses extra

I have bought one of these kits and a typical increase is 30+bhp.

The vid on the top of this link is a pile of crap IMHO.It just goes VROOM without any readouts.

Mac u can get kits which produce alot more than 30bhp

Jaz I am talking about a NOS intercooler spray not a Car Nitrous Oxide Injection System.

Well Gary300zx filled up with 106 octane cool blue (or some name like that), apparently his car is running about 500bhp (or so the previous owner said) but even with 106 octane he still lost against me, so it' all a little confusing. anyway , I wouldn't use race fuel in my engine tbh, I'd want internals changed if I was going to push it that much.
