Guys, I am on the lookout for a newish PC.

 

Must be P4 spec, DDR Ram etc etc, just after the base unit, board and CPU.

 

ANyone got anything decent going?

Will have the guts of an Abit BP6 (twin processor) up for grabs soon. It's far from new, but twin processor machines are pretty good. It's actually twin 366mHz, overclocked to 550mHz and it absolutely smokes a single processor 1.2GHz machine that I have.

 

Just in the process of building a twin processor 1.8GHz Xeon with RAID etc. :dance:

Yes you can. I just won one. Brandnew P4, 2.66GHz, 40GbHD, 256MbDDRRam, 64Mbgraphics card, 3Dsound card, DVD, CD-RW, Windows XP home installed.

They delivered within 2 days , very happy with it. £310.

Im on broadband 1152kbps and performance is wicked, instant page loading.

If your interested i'll give you the name of the company, they uprate any bits you want at little extra cost,
