My insurance is due next week, got my renewal quote with nil no claims, £2,200 TPFT :xxx: Takes the p1ss.

Who else is around my age (24) and has a half decent premium? I have just tried Houghton and they wont insure my as I'm under 25

Gonna have a look at http://www.confused.com I think.

Cheers

Pete

Finally got a more realistic quote, a "bargain" £2k fully comp through the insurance factory. They were v helpful indeed, v impressed :)

Oh to be an old bugger with a UK rusty zed ;)

Pete

Two thousand pounds!!!!!!!!!!!! That is total robbery!!!!!!!!!

Being 33 obviously classifies you as an old bugger, and gives a reasonable-ish quote even though I haven't had my licence that long relatively speaking.

Liverpool Victoria were very helpful to me- insured my Soarer for £700, and were quite happy with imports (seemed to actually know what it was). Direct Line are pretty strict wanting a Tracker, inside leg measurment, urine sample, proof of no claims bonus, etc etc but about £700 with (now) no no claims bonus.

L/Vic dont insure under 25's.

I was with admiral for £760 fully comp but told them yesterday about my recent mod's - e-mail through today saying they are cancelling my policy :slap:

Flux have quoted me about the same with all mods declared, but I might try a few others at the weekend as well.

tried Houghtons a while back - they told me that to have my zed on the classic 2nd car policy I MUST have it in a garge overnight (don't have one). Is this true of everyone on here with them?
