My heater matrix has burst. What NEXT? Anyway, my local mechanic aint too keen to do the job for me. Does anyone know of someone that can do the job?

I'm based in Trowbridge, Wilts (near Bath)

In desperation

its not a difficult job to do yourself, its just a pain in the t1ts. My advice is , take the dash out :)

Cheers

for that! I'll give that a go. How much has to come out? Is it just the centre section and glove box or is it the whole lot? Can't see where all the fixings are, so do you know of an online manual or whatever?

cheers

This is a fun job , the whole dash has to come out as that is the only way that you can check it has been done properly , espeacially if you have not done it before and you are not sure where the screws and bolts are , if you get stuck I am just the other side of Swindon give me a shout happy to help (time permitting)

I did this 2-3 weeks ago. If your car is an auto, I would do it with the dash in. Didn't enjoy the job but got some satisfaction from doing the job myself.

Do a search and you will see what I went through.
