find out how much traffic passes along a certain road without actually sitting there and counting? Is there a web site or organization that holds this information?

could always go down the local primary school and get them to sit outside one sunny after noon and tally up the diferent colour cars, i remember doing that when i was a kid, i now realise it wasnt a maths project but a devious government plan to save money on research costs

I just called the local Notts council and got the info. Quite scary to think how much traffic actually passes the road I am interested in.
