As far as I'm awear, they are factory fitted to JDM motors as an option. You press a button in the dash, and they extend so that you can see where the leading edge of your bumper is when parking.

No, suprise suprise my parking ariel doesnt work.

 

I use the switch for it for my rear fog now.
