Hi,

 

I have heard what i think they call wastegate chatter on some cars when chaging gear and to me i think it sounds better than ya standard whooosh noise from your dumpvalve.

 

Does anyone know is it possible to achieve this sound on a 91 UK 300zx TT, would you just need to upgrade the Wastegate or does it involve more than this? The car in question is completely standard.

Did you import your stillen induction kit straight from stillen or get it in the UK, if so where? Also what dump valves you running?

I got it from Mike Feeney (MJP) is his store name, he is in the Traders section, seems to have done the trick. It didnt make that chatter noise until i took the re-circs off though, the dump valves i got from america about £150 for the pair.

Mac, I'm not sure about that as that already has 516@hubs and is always progressing. To get somewhere near it would be nice though.

 

Yeah there is such a thing, I have 560's now but they aren't going to be up to the job. I've jsut sold a set of 720's today, but Richie was running 91% duty on 1000cc jobs when he made those power runs.

Don't forget I have 2 cyls less. :)

Mmmm that's one of those unanswerable questions LOL.

I've got most things on order now, have to do some headwork and probably have to build a gearbox.

But there will be undoubtedly some more dev work to do along the way.

 

They are 166 stock. :)

800+ bhp evo, quite a few customer 400-600bhp S13s and S14s, GTi-Rs.

Wonder what would happen if he did a Zed? 1000bhp?

I guess his demo cars do the speaking.

 

But you can pick fault in any tuner, no one has tried everything.

Have you seen this car? Bayside blue,full kit and Fiat rear lights (strosek)He said he was on the 200 BB.

Not sure I know him, but think I've heard of the car.

I think there is some history between SE and ND so comments like that don't surprise me TBH.

I wouldn't take my car to ND though.
