gotta be the cossie, for everything that its done for motorsport and making high power cars availavble to the masses, pretty stong and easy to mod a tru legend amongst engines,, getting old now but cossies still rock down on the 1/4 mile!!!

RB26 unlimited tuning potential

this one : BRABUS SV 12 Biturbo increased capacity engine, 640 hp / 471 kW, 1,026 Nm from 1.750 rpm, 310 km/h (electronically limited)

as much as i dont really like the car the cossie 2 ltr engine was the king lets face it when they made it in wot 86 ish over 200 bhp from a 2 ltr engine and a car that could do 150 mph and 0-60 in under 6 sec wow major respect is due

Yes, it's agricultural in comparisson to today's engines, but it's that fact that makes it easy to build/work on. It's been around so long that the tuning possibilities are virtually endless from quadruple twin downdraft DellOrts to Supercharging....

...Oh, and that noise!

So in summation:

They are readily available

Cheap to buy and modify

Virtually bullet proof

Wonderful V8 rumble

All Alloy construction so lightweight (relatively).

Gets my vote anyday. :D
