Probably something that doesn't concern most of you in any way shape or form, but I'm so pissed off with them at the moment that I just have to post something to vent my anger!

I run a business centre consisting of offices and industrial units, we accommodate about 40 different companies.

The Royal Mail always used to deliver mail at about 10:00 in the morning, which was a bit late but just about acceptable. I also PAY for the Post Office to collect my mail at the end of the day. He used to get here at about 4:30 in the afternoon.

Now I get my mail delivered - IF I AM LUCKY - at 1:30PM!!!, and the new collection guy comes at 3:00 - that gives all the companies at my site a 1.5 hour turnaround time! PATHETIC!!

I have called the Royal Mail 'customer service' to complain and was told:--

"This is all to do with improving the service, and we are now doing a single delivery (we NEVER used to get 2 anyway!). This is your new and improved service and that is the way it is going to stay." :xxx:

Improved service MY ARSE!! Don't piss down my neck and tell me it's raining! Yet another respected British Institution goes down the fuggin toilet! ARSEHOLES!!! :(

Improved service read reduced costs on the Royal Mails side. Simple.

Thats exactly right bilky, I used to work for royal mail and due to the HUGE loses they were making they have to change something and thats what it is, 1 single delivery going out later due to the more mass of mail, cutting of staff and generally intergrating the new service in. Believe me not many of the employees are happy with the new systems so your not the only ones! As for second class, I hear so many people moaning that they never get 2nd post, but just remember that just because you never get any doesnt mean that they dont do it. There was literally hundreds of letters coming in for 2nd post at our office.

It's foxes and rabbits, innit?! If they made the service good, more people would use it and it'd all fall apart. If they make it more shyte, less people wanna use it and they can cope better. It's not Royal Mails fault they provide a sh*t service - if everyone stopped using it, they'd be fvckin ace! :)

Well, when you put it like that I can see where they're coming from! :D :D

That put a smile on my face. Thanks!

I was particularly impressed with the service 2 months ago.

My brother came to visit me in Leeds but left to return to Edinburgh with my spare house key and only shed key in his pocket.

He put it in the post the next morning and it took 2.5 weeks to be delivered!

Luckily I got him to send them to my parents address in case someone noticed it was keys and tried to use them but I gave up after a week and got another set cut!

I should have claimed the £12 back it cost me

was lucky with them japfest dvds- I sent loads out using un-regestered post- all arrived next day and none teefed.

Sometimes get dvds delivered to work from amazon and usually dont turn up, but I suspect our corrupt post room :xxx: is to blame
