a BIG thank you to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hi all well sold my 300zx tt this week and and bought a R33 skyline today! im not saying that im never going to come on here agian but you won't see me as much. (proberly every night still)

Just really wanted to take the time out and thank EVERYONE for there help, advice, and general friendship which i belive i won't get like that anywhere else. I could'nt have owned my 300 if it was'nt for this site and the peolpe who run it and use it. I would definatley have a 300zx agian maybe an manual next time, but for now (until someone make a silly offer for the skyline) im going over to skylines, drove it home today and was very impressed with it it, its absoulutley packed out with HKS and runs about 400bhp. the only thing im a little concernd with is this drifting diff package it has, it clunks and knocks at slow speeds feels very strange.

Thanks :duffer:

kind regards

Jim

Jim,

What you have regarding your rear diff sounds exactly like what I have on the SWB NA.

This was pretty race spec's up as it also have HKS hyper dampers, blitz Sus induction, chip, AFR and full body kit.

I recently bought an NA diff to swap it out, but if the skyline boys are saying that it's a LSD with clutch removed and it won;t damage the car at all then maybe I now have a spare NA diff.....

Now what can I do with an NA diff  !!!!!, Baggins I may need to speak to you soon lol !!!

I've got a cusco LSD. It does bang and rattle a bit, it's because it's a clutch (plate) type rather than viscous. Gives better traction and less fishtail, the trade off is the noise and clunks. You'll get used to it!

No worries matey

Skyline is a good choise and can be modified a lot without any internal changes. As for the lsd u'll get used to it like John said. A friend of mine has it on a fwd car of his when his turning u think that the car will brake into pieces
