Ive had my car on ebay for the last 10 days.. not a sniff!!!!!

its not as if its over priced ( is it?). One of the guys on the gt4 (woo hoo  , ahem!) board raffled his, alright his car was only worth 2k ( one of the older style fours) but he put a post up gauging interest in a raffle. He wanted 20 quid for 100 tickets and he sold them in a flash, this idea seems very appealing! except of course id be looking for slightly more than 2K

What about a raffle at Billing ?

surely ebay is not the place to buy a car ? [have u ever bought a car without seeing it in the flesh/metal ?]

actually ebay is one of the best places, if you follow all the rules of car buying m8, ie obviously most people would not buy a car without seeing it

so look before bidding, they make a great show of stating "it's a legally binding bid" but on the same vein if the car is not described truthfully then you have every right to walk away, as safe as importing a car you've never seen, if its to far to take look, get them to send photos of everything you want to see, if they won't don't bid,

again if you havn't been able to look before bidding, when you go to buy if it's not as described WALK

far better a bit of bad feedback than to buy a "dog"

would you buy a car from this forum without all the info?? no difference

scoops, cant find your car mate.

was going to take a look and see what your addy said

No different from Personally importing a Zed from Japan.

My purchase was based on 3 Jap' auction photos and the auction house report.

but buying from a company means you should have some recource to complain if item is dodgy - buying a car from a private individual is risky as they won't give a guarantee.
