Hi peeps,

I've been visiting this forum for about two months now, but haven't noticed anybody in or around Ipswich, in tractor land (Suffolk, or is that Suffarrrrk smile.gif)

Where I'm currently working there are three other Zed drivers, all standard UK models except for a nice (slightly modded) Import. Anybody here?

I must admit, I've been slightly drawn into this forum. Originally I stumbled across it via a Google search, I had a nose, and found a whole bunch of other people who've experienced almost every problem I've encountered whilst owning the Z. Some of you having much more greif than I'm having: Az for example.

Its nice to see a female Z driver on here too! I don't know that many women who drive nice cars actually, except for my friend Anna who drives a Supercharged SLK.

I'm in Ipswich (red na), Stu (yellow tt)also. Couple of people on the Labs (red tts) and various others knocking around. Seen a nice body kit near the station and another over near Wickes (both red).

Where are you? How long have you been an owner?

...nice place Ipswich...

cheers

Contact! Jack, its good to hear there's some other local Z owners out there. I work at the labs too, but have yet to actually speak to one of the other Zed owners. I've heard that the guy who owns that Z with the nice kit and respray, near Scuffs, also owns a Supra. But the Supra is his runaround, and the Z being his pride and joy! Which is good to hear!

Just out of interest, you're not the guy I met in Sterling once? I came in to pick up some parts, and you were at the parts desk doing the same? A long perhaps, but worth asking.

Theres another guy I know who owns a Silver NA import. He'd been after one for ages, and when he found out I had one, we went for a spin, and he had one a couple of weeks later. Only problem being it doesnt fit in his garage! Well, he'd have to use the roof to get out! smile.gif

...I try to keep out of Sterling, only ever been in for air filters and a osf tie bar. I've seen the silver na a couple of times. Mines got a tt front and back even though it's na.

...can't believe the fuel consumption you tt guys put up with.

cheers

Jack, I cant believe the .... ahh perhaps not wink.gif

A well chuffed Glen - got 265miles out of a full tank by driving like a Hyacinth Bookay back from the Pile of Wight.

Funny I never begrudge spending money on Petrol - I look at it like spending money on Cocaine, its expensive but it makes you go very fast. Well it does me anyway.

Hi Will,

When my Z is on the road I can bee seen in Ipswich once every couple of months.

Was up last weekend in my 200, went a bit sideways on the hill near the Dry Ski Slope not far from the Orwell bridge.

Ipswich seems a bit scarce on 300's seen a silver one I think is an import and that's it.

number of z's in Ipswich

...might be the centre of the universe... I know of 6 red, 2 silver, 2 black and 1yellow.

...so does that make Ipswich the most well stocked z town in England?

cheers

Jack
