Well,

The guy that I bought my S13 from has offered to buy it back from me.

I like the S13 but I would like to consider my options!

The car I am looking for has:

Got to be sporty looking

Got to be fast

Got to be reasonable on fuel

Got to have an attempt at having four seats.

Got to be insurable under a classic policy, i.e. over ten years old!

Would like a hatchback when I have to cram potential serial murder vicitms into the back

I like the S13 and in reality it gave me all of the above, do you think there are many other cars that would do this?

Don't rule out Saab bearing in mind that they pioneered turbo charging on production cars so they are the Daddy when it comes down to reliable turbo charging.

How do you work that out? worlds first production turbocharged car was the 1957 bmw 2002, which apparently beat saabs offering by a massive couple of weeks!

LMFAO :)

Sorry mate, should've said something like the following and you're well wide of the marque, BMW were not the first bud! ;)

Turbos were not developed for planes, those were superchargers and used in 30's race cars such as the "Blower" Bentley. Turbos were developed after World War 2 to help increase power in large diesel engines. The corvair monza and the Old Jetfire were the first to use turbos in a production car, but they were small runs. These early 60's turbos had high lag and lots of piston knock due to the unpredictable fuel delivery of carbuerettors. The BMW 2002 was the first injected turbo (beating the 911 by a year), but again it was limited production run for both BMW and the 911 (BMW only did it for 2 years). In 1976 Saab made the first truly usable turbo in a production and driving sense, and they have made turbo models from 1976 on, they have been the only company (besides possibly porsche) that has committed to turbo use in road cars

;)

unlucky, the ones on the corvair were actually belt driven and hence technically a supercharger, not a turbo!

Lmfao!!!!! :)

There's a Skyline R32 GTS (2 litre n/a) for a little under £3k on the GTR Register.

Might aswell go and purchase a Capri 1.6 Calypso! LMFAO :)

I know where there is a RS200 (2 seater 4 wheel drive engine in the back) sat in a field + this guy has a full set of the original molds.

Anyone want to go into business. He gave me a price for the lot ,but I own a Z so naturally I'm skint. However if there are any Toyota owners with bags of money out there I'm prepare to cut a deal
