Right lets get this organised.

 

I'm up at windermere today so i will scope out some places we can go and post it but lets make it a deffo and set a date

 

I suggest:

 

20th or 27th June??

 

or

 

4th or 11th July??

 

I can make all of them and i only live 30mins down the road so its not a problem for me.

 

Also why not get some of you guys from scotland as well if its not too far for you??

Temped to make a weekend out of that!!

 

Don't do the 27th as it's Thorsby that weekend, but i quite fancy a little break in the Lakes.

 

Obviously all depending on my chuffin leg, but i'll most certainly show my face, I may even bring Mrs Chunk to this one :)

I would deffinately take a blast across from the east coast for that. Any excuse for a go on the hairpins at Hartside :)

Mike, why not start just setting a few dates, ie Lakes have one on a saturday in june and one on a Sunday in July etc, do the same with a meet in morecambe, one on a sun in June and one on a Saturday in July, also a meet at the Royal Oak, Eastlancs. Aim for one near Chester again.

 

The problem will be that not everyone will be able to make all dates, but people can start planning etc. Summers here, well kinda lets start having some meets around the North West.

The only problem i would see in having lots of dates for different places is it would just divide the region up, the last few meetings went really well as lots of people made the effort, some traveling far some not so far so it swings in roundabouts, sometimes you will have to travel sometimes not!!??

 

I would prefer a larger meet and hope to agree a date over the next month but if people would prefer another method then let me know but i think if we get a nice day in the lakes and if we can attract some others from afar then we could be onto a winner.

Sounds good to me, just presuming i have no suprises from the Surgeons regarding ops and my Z is running well (it would make a nice change) we'll be there.

4th of July is Euro final. Why do we always choose important footy dates for meets?

Im at a college prom on the 3rd with a luvely lady, so il be hungover on the 4th so unablt to come:cry:

make it the weekend afer the footy final then.. jesus christ can anyone decide anything.. i guess this is where our local rep should step in and decide, or put up a poll or something. Come on kirbs get your finger out!!!! ;)

Thats why I suggested maybe two meets in the lakes, that way, anyone who cant make one, hopefully should be able to make the second. If you dont have a life (looks in mirror) probably could make it to both lol.
