Ba5stards!

A good lawyer will overturn this but in the mean time they're just making a scapegoat of the poor bloke.

I flash cars all the time when i see a scam van - even that is a so-called offence!

The only good thing is there will be alot of publicity - another nail in the scam partnerships coffin.

What happens if he appeals and the sentence is overturned? By that time he'll have already served his ban. It just shows the arrogance of the magistrates that they imposed the sentence with immediate effect as they know the appeal won't help him.

It also shows why camera partnerships that include the local magistrates are a joke as the magistrates get a proportion of the fines from speed cameras and are obviously unhappy if anyone interferes with their income stream... :xxx:

How's about we cough up a tenner each towards his fine, and any left can go towards paying his legal bill ?

After all, he could have saved the licence of any one of us; and the £360 fine will cost him quite a few pension giros.

He's a good lad in my book, and deserves our support !
