Hoping for some inspiration for a freind. 300NA Auto. For some time has been quite lazy changiong up- lags and revs during shifts.

 

Got progressively worse & now really struggles to get into 3rd.

 

Carried out the manual diagnostic and this showed up perfect. TPS appears to work OK and hav'nt got a Conzult.

 

Any ideas?- don't know when the oil was last changed (its done 55,000 miles- apparently)- would it do this if the filter was choked up?

 

Any Help much appreciated! (he's so frustrated he's talking about joining the ranks of ex- owners!) :(

yes deffo if filter is blocked would cause box to act the prat

six months ago i had NO DRIVE and thatw as on a 35k car

changed oil cleaned filter, and cured the probelm, not had any hassle since

worth trying for the sake of new fluid

Anyone know of the best source for autobox sump gaskets?- I'll do mine @ same time!

as i said m8 not a banker it's gonna cure the problem

but for the sake of about £10 for fluid got to worth a go

at short notice i guess your gonna struggle to get a gasket from a motofactors place a nissan dealer :eek: probably would be the best

as i did mine at short notice i didnt change mine and luckily got away with it:)
