heres a question.

My car at thor produced 294 rear hub/ 350 flywheel bhp @ 15.3 psi. At that point she was overfuelling, had a crap chip, a hole in the exhaust, was burning shedloads of oil, and detting like a pig

After a bit of fiddling, all the above is sorted and she is now pushing 19 psi, so to pre-empt the rolling road, what sort of HP am I looking at?

any views?

its really hard to tell. We dont know how much those problems where hindering the performance.

19 psi?! Umm... b-b-BANG!

Where is Thor exactly? It's not some strange place where the fairies live, is it?!

Sorry, knee-jerk reaction. You're saying you can run 19 psi and everything is happy. OK 51, get a grip. 350 flywheel sounds perfectly acceptable for a nice running 300 without det. I'd go for that. Seriously tho, with the sort of bad performance you're talking about, it sounds like (being realistic!) you'd struggle to make 300 flywheel bhp. But as Thor seems to be the place to go for really big numbers, I'd say with everything running good at 19 psi, you could well be making at least 2 million bhp. You can quote me on that too... I'm a fackin ex-spert! ;)

I would drop the boost till you get to Thor-Racing,say 12psi,just to be safe, then let them sort it,and if they are prepard eventualy(may be to risky) to take it to 19 you should get 340 at least at the wheels,

What's your setup

Tony why drop it , Jock is running T28's , forged pistons , 555's etc the car is sounding and running really well , got to be running at least 350 at the wheels

FFS hand bags at dawn or what :D

"You got more HP than me, that can't be right, you're RR is wrong..."

Anyone got a flow chart for T28s then? Could work out the *theoretical* power from that....

At 15.3 psi I would be expecting her to be pushing at least 330HP at the hubs.

if you are running the same at 19psi I would say in the region of 320HP at the hubs, but if you have sorted her out good and proper and ironed out all the issues that she seems to have had, you should be looking at the high 300's at the rear hubs.

Can't wait to hear what she's got now you've sorted it.

If she's not detting and seems to be running fine then keep her at 19 psi, that's what you got the forged pistons and bigger tubs for ;).

Don't forget to post up in the dyno section and I'll add/update your stats in the thor chart.
