Absolutely gutted :( Just shunted the zed.

 

I went into the back of someone on the motorway today, the usual palava, everybody suddenly brakes for some unknown reason :mad: further up the queue and I got caught out. Couldnt go left or right as there was a car alongside me and the central reserve on the other side. Hit the cars left hand rear, my right side front.

 

I'll post some pictures up later when my camera has charged with a plea for advice :)

 

Reckon its repairable but I dont need this :( It still drives, after I freed up the LHS intake hoses. Will need new bumper, headlight, foglight, wing, bonnet, and some work on the cross member above the headlight, and what ever else I find. :( I'm gutted.

 

Told my insurance to sort the other car out and I'll fix/sell/break mine :( depending on the money involved.

If you're making a claim for the damage to the other car anyway, isn't it worthwhile to get the insurance company to fix yours at the same time? You won't lose anything by doing that will you as you'll have to pay the excess anyway. Or have a missed something?
