The boat carrying my lovely shiny zxTT has collided with an oil tanker and sunk off of singapore. I am a bit shocked to say the least.  Looks like I will not get one until a months time now, hence missing alot of shows and events.

Damn that is so unlucky, on the plus side that is possibly the funniest thing I've read all year & brightened up my morning

have to admit, I can see the (incredibly) funny side, I might take up fishing.

What?

Lets hope no one was hurt!

Tough luck mate, least its insured and you can order another one

Can some on tell me how a huge 30,000 tonne cargo ship didnt see a 100,000 tonne 1/2 a mile long tanker?

Dunno Stu - thought you would have been able to tell US that  ;) :D

Apparently it was a 300,000 tonne tanker and the ships were warned, and were even talking to each other as they collided!!!! The garage told me it is not my problem and that the money I paid will go towards another. Though I a m thinking about just taking it back and buying one in the UK.

And no one was hurt! SO thats a a plus at least.

Unlucky mate.........There's plenty more fish in the sea

Seriously though have a look at some that are on the forum for sale.

If its any consellation, thats what it used to look like before it sank LOL

Seems they were in communication before the collision! Reminds me of that old urban myth joke about the US aircraft carrier Nimitz telling a Canadian vessel to get out of it's way coz it was bigger/bader........the canadians said fine, come on, we're a LIGHTHOUSE!!  :p

Did the car have a decent hi-fi install?

Just wondering if it had a "sub" in the boot

Maybe it just had a SEA DEE player?

mines currently on a boat too. i fookin sh1t when i heard on the news yesterday, thunkfully it wasnt on this one.. unlucky mate, youll be fully insured though!

When they are that big they need about 2 miles to stop, and acording to my missus who insures them they dont turn very well at full speed.

she says she hasnt insured a sinker in about 3 months. apparently its not uncommon, she knows of 30 50,000 tonners going down this year.
