Great day at Pod today, loads of zed there too. I think James got the fastest of the zeds on the day on his 1st attempt too :bow: Good to see Mike Feeneys 350Z getting beat left right and centre by 300s :D:D:rofl:

 

I had 5 runs,beat a turbo Scooby Estate, a Clio, an Escort RST, an Astra Turbo, and an R5GTT. Was hoping to get some quicker opposition this time but nothing really within a second or so.

 

Times were :

 

13.913@104.62 :eek: Excuse - damp track at 10am...:D

In the afternoon I got

13.517@105.81 - equal best time at Santa Pod I've had, v hot too :)

Kind of frustrating that I keep getting 13.5, like last time at Pod too lol, but then I guess that means the car is running well, and consistent :cool: Reactions times were all between 0.5 and 0.6 which I'm pleased about.

Just a quick post before going to work. Had a great day on my first visit to the pod. Spent a lot of time queuing as I didn't get there till late.

Best time was my first run, trying too hard for the others. Can't quite get the launch right. Also lost a coil pack at the top of third for 2 of the runs, bit of bluetack sorted them out ;).

 

1st run 13.368@103.23 lost coil pack near end, beat 2ltr turbo Nova that got a 13.871!!!

2nd run 14.616@ 104.44 completely screwed the launch, wheel spinning in all through first and missed 2nd gear :slap: - beat a sierra still

3rd run 13.680@101.57 lots of wheel spin in first, lost a different coil pack - beat Mike Feeny in his 350 :cool:

4th run 13.586@107.34 bogged down a bit in first and completely destroyed a fiesta that ran a 19.2 :rofl:

Here's a vid of me against Mike, looks like I need to practice my launch as I wheel spin through all of first! + my reaction time was 0.4secs after Mike, so it looks like it's a while before I start moving.
