LOL, would you attack it with some poisoned meat?

Dunno, but I'd have no problems with it swallowing my meat. As long as it gave it back :D

Sorry to hear about you're cat mate. You should take it up with the owner of the dog, the police won't do anything TBH. If someone stood by and watched his dogs do that to my cat he would get a visit he would never ever forget.

.

HERE HERE

and of course all you people moaning about bins , the council gives you a wheelie bin why don't you use it !!!!! and of course it would not be rats or foxes would it, I mean if you are leaving bin bags scattered around then they are bound to get ripped and encourage pests.

I double anything will come of prosicution.

A dog in our street was killed by another dog. The owners where taken to court and they had an order that the dog had secured at all times that is it.

It got out once though and tried it on with our dogs. It may have been vicious but it had no chance against 2 Irish Wolfhounds

Think it’s well out of order that someone can sit back and watch their own pet rip apart someone else’s.

Doesn't matter if it’s a dog or cat or whatever, basic human decency should kick in that it’s someone’s pet and the owner should have at least tried to intervene.

Sorry for your loss mate, and if I were you Id be going to see the owner of the dogs with a baseball bat.

I say kill the kids, the cats and the dogs. then theres no problems. Oh and pikies count as dogs and cats so add them too.

In fact if it dont drive a Z kill em

For my 2p, nobodies pet should die like that, and I do feel for you. I would say that you cant blame the dog anymore than you can a cat which reacts as nature intended. Yes a dog can be trained, but if it is not, then the owner is at fault, not the dog. I put my hand up and say I am not a cat person, but anyone who allows (or trains) their dog to kill any other animal is a sick f00ker.

Let us not forget that humans are the easiest animal to train: I do this = I get hurt is a short but useful lesson in life.

I love Cats, Dogs, Birds and fish for that matter.

One thing sums it up thats already bin said...

Its the owners responsibility!

Must admit tho, even tho I am a dog lover, dogs that are bread to be killers are going to be hard to control even by the best handlers.

Mines a Shi-Tzu, (Most of you probably laughin ya socks off now) but he's a great part of our family. Even so, he has snapped at me a few times...always knows its wrong and who the boss realy is tho....the Wife obviously....she feckin feeds him!

Oh and one of my Gold fish once jumped out the pond and savaged a fly in next doors garden....I imeadiatly flushed it down the loo...!

Soz, but gotta laugh as this post seemed to be heading down hill.

Rossy

The difference between the two is that dogs (the semi intelligent ones) can be trained, cats on the other hand are a law unto themselves and do what they please.

Thats why they are such a problem:(

And how I have learnt this painful lesson after you broke my heart Jock.

LOL Shrimple well get jealous

LOL ... They can be a problem mate as they own you.

My cat came from a rescue centre as it was really mistreated by its previous owner. It can be a bit unpredictable at times but on the whole is fairly well adjusted.

like me

i think i'm correct in saying that the owner cant be prosecuted because a cat is classed as a wild animal. If it was the other way around and a dog was killed i think the owner can be prosecuted because a dog is regarded as property and therefore is subject to the criminal damage laws. I think the only thing he can be charged with is cruelty to animals.

p.s. it's very rarely the dogs problem - its normally the owners problem

Regards,

alex

dogs cats birds.....all are fair game for my air rifle hell when im out on the moss if the little shits out in the woods start taking pot shots at me then they too feel the wrath of my scoped 18ft/pd airarms tx300 .22.....you cant blame any animal no matter how well trained for its killer instinct owners are at fault not their animals why you think we are at the top of the food chain

I think that a dog owner is responsible for it's behaviour, whereas the same does not apply to cats (for the reason stated above).

So, if your dog is off it's lead, runs out in front of a car and causes and accident - you are liable.

You can fook right off! you can't compare children with stinking vermin cats,If you run over a cat you don't even have to report it,are you saying it's the same for kids
