Does he mean power cables when he/she says missing power supply?

I presume so, most TFT screens I have dealt with come with a video and power cable socket.

 

Compaq however have been known to be different........I am sure it is just the kettle lead.

 

I can get some of there is anyone needs some.

these will almost deffo need a special power supply

the power is different for a tft that contains a usb base

i have 3 flat panel monitors (none compaq) and everyone has a built in box

to the power supply

These use a small power connector, along with an inline transformer, u'll have a tough time finding a replacement at a reasonable price, steer clear!
