Ok not sure where to begin but it has been about 6 weeks now and I am affraid I have given up on finding another z as good as I had, sorry guys but i have bought a peugeot 406 3lt coupe as I needed to get back on the road, i will in no doubt get another Z but at the moment there is nothing that could replace the beauty that I had.

I had a massive bust up with NIG (the insurers) on friday after rejecting the offer of 5k(3 weeks later) the engineer phoned me and offered 5,500 and I rejected that he then said "well I retract the offer so then and it goes back to 5k" I won't repeat what I said but he replied "well it's personell and your car didn't really do much for me anyway"

I have been on to NIG and filed a complaint about this TOSSA! and told them under no circumstances may he call me again.

Ok I lost controll and killed my Z but this attitude is taking the piss!!!!!

I intend to put all the info together and go to the ombudsmen.

All I can say is have an agreed value on your Z when you insure it or you will be offfered book value, mine was a mint 94 uk Z and they offered me top book.....................5k?

Cheers guys and thanks for the support

Ady

Hi Ady,

If you contact the zed club, they have an insurance valuation officer who can negotiate on your behalf!
