Mac can you give me the contact details for this Nend? That set up looks fantastic,I bet it was not cheap

Hi Rodney, I am Nend, first name Peter.

You can reach me at : nendelsp@xs4all.nl

Exhaust wrap / ceramic coating is for keeping heat out of the engine bay, IMHO, not keeping exhaust gases hotter. Although a side effect of no heat in the engine bay means the heat will be inside the manifold ;) I reckon the benefits come more from the cooler bay. Hotter gases will move faster, but the difference will be negligable.

mac ceramic coating is the better option (i forgot money isnt an object), but make sure they dont use that shitty cheap ceramic paint from tweeks eh ;)

Some people reckon 'exhaust' wrap cant instigate rust on the exhaust, which it can on the exhaust, dont think it would do on the manifold(s) though.

Will it be getting coated internally too?

how much did that lot cost

he he, yeah, a lot of people think thats all its for, race teams used it for power increase mainly (lower underbonnet temps is an advantage & byproduct of wrapping).

Hehe, so a run of the mill average road driver is gonna feeeel the difference in power? Personally unless the heat from the manifold is causing a problem....I.e. packed engine bay melted wires bla bla, I wouldnt bother.

Im not a race team, you aren't a race team, none of us are race teams.

* So lets get back to our road cars eh?

*unless you are a race team.

Well the bandages are staying off,Why because tubular manifolds will crack when wraped.

If you are going to wrape your manifold, I think you will be needing bandages mate! :D  :D

Your head might be better wraped :x: :D

it helps reduce lag too. :)

hotter exhaust gasses travel faster due to the bigger volume, faster gasses = quicker spool up.

yup, that was the point i was making jezz - just not worth the risk of damaged manifolds tho ;)

you decided what your gonna do with the exhaust of the wastegates yet?

Yes paul.

Peter said I am going to get real P*ssed off with the noise,he said the Skyline that goes there sounds like a plane coming into land :o

So we going to pipe them into the exhaust.
