Steve If you are staying with auto,it is the only choice to make;)

I would agree with that!

Stu,I told him not to do that as

1 It won't be worth the hastle for a 0.1 of a second gain in 0-60

2 It is from a N/A it wont handle the power and it will blow up:D;)

Mac the gain is 1.0 to 1.5 secs up 100mph which is quite a gain, as regards the rear diff handling the power you are fine up to approx 500rwhp so I should have no problem there , and anyway the rear diff is not the prob its more the fact that there will only be 4 bolts holding the prop shaft to the diff as opposed to the 6 that hold the prop on the TT diff , higher grade bolts should sort that out.

So Stu ......what is your little additional mod then ????

Will be at pod on the 23rd :hyper: :hyper:

Well I guess you better get your drill out then mate ;).

Can't make the 23rd as I'm away from the friday till the monday.

I'll be very interested to see how your new diff works out. Let me know how it goes. I should be ready by start of june ;). As regards to the mods I'm doing from now till then :x:

Ryan, is there no way of changing the input flange on the Diff to the TT version?

Andy have looked in to this quite extensively and the Diffs are completely different , which is why you have to have the whole subframe.

providing I don't go silly with launches all the time it should not be a prob , there are loads of NA's in the US running 100-200 shots of NOS , if the Diff can handle that then I am sure that it will be ok

Stu , all going well mine will also be ready for the start of June ;) :D

Ooo fight club here we come... :mac1:

If 3rd to 2nd spins the wheels that's a bad thing! Imagine if that happens in the middle of a Scandanavian flick? :nelson: Jerky changes are the worst thing you can do driving hard!

If you're working the slush box harder it will get hotter... I guess the improvement from your new cooler isn't as much as the additional power going through the converter.

Your other cunning mod is mint though, I can't argue with that! It should take over a second off quarter mile because you have 10% extra torque EVERYWHERE, even at 1000rpm!

You're still missing a ratio though...

Feeling how hot the cooler gets i think I am going to invest in a bigger one , as I am pretty sure the aftermarket one I have is not really up to the job the jerky ness or wheel spin should not be a prob because the TC kicks in momentarily and all is well again , :D
