I don't think 1/4 mileing proves feck all to be honest IMO! You see people with stock cars doing a 13.7 sec run, they go away spend 20 grand on mods go back and pull off a 13.5 sec run. Expensive just to pull yer time down a couple of tenths.

 

Hence why Top Gear ran the Old vs. New on a 1/5 of a mile as the quarter wouldn't have proved bugger all and that certainly showed in the runs.

1/4 mile is fair, both RWD and its easier, cheaper to just go and do it! I'll post up details when ive spoken to the Essex girl:D

Great idea Roy,would be good fun and promote inter club harmony, :D ,what about the GTO lot too,they all pulled out when we suggested this event some months back(6 months :rolleyes: )and they still not come back on here to challenge,wonder why :D ,it will be good fun,who gives a shit whos faster than the other,be a good excuse for a meet too :)

What about Santa Pod 23rd May,RWYB and ZClub Drag Challenge meet,gives people plenty of time to prepare etc,theres a RWYB on 15th may too.LETS DO IT :D

Yeah, I agree mate. I would love to have a ride or a go in a Soup. Always wanted to go out in an R-34 and an Evo aswell.

 

That's why I bought the Mister-2, I was looking at buying a Prelude but wanted to stick with a turbo charged motor. I was most impressed when I test drove the MR-2. Not really a top end motor like the Z but it's acceleration is ace! Good fun more than anything.

What happened to the challenge between the GTO (yes - our lot) and the 300ZX's ?

 

Personally I dont mind the three clubs co-operating for a days fun - but we want top be carefull that it doesnt get out of hand ... before we know whats happening all the clubs in the country will be invited if we dont pull it in.

 

Whoever is your rep with the GTO club please talk to Nemisis. I;ll give him a poke today as well to see whats happening.
