as well as the police carrying light meters, VOSA (ministry of transport) are also enforcing this law with checks at the side of the road.

 

VOSA are also going around dealers, at this stage just to warn them to remove any film on vehicles for sale, in the future we will prob just be prosecuted :mad:

 

the same 70% tint seems to be the letter of the law, although speaking to VOSA they said any aftermarket tint will probably be illegal.

 

speaking to our tinting company they seem unsure as to whether even the old "legal" tints are ok or not, but think they may be. the problem is, when applied over a factory tinted window then possibly not.

 

the fact that this new purge has just come out at the same time as prosecuting for being on mobile phones is purely coincedental :rolleyes:

How are the going to Police it when there trading in coppers for cameras and the ones that are left are too busy making sure that 10% of the force are Gay (which according to the Church of England survey on sexual orientation claims only 0.04% of us are gay) 4% are black and registered, 20% are gathering for illegal Tea and Bacon butty brakes, 15% are on internal afares, 5% are out shaggin female witnesses, witnesses wives or 1.2% of the female officers, 30% of the force is tied up with paper chasing which means that only 18.8% are out there trying to catch Motorists because they have to prove their doing something and they only have a 8 hour shift to do it in. Crooks can take weeks to catch.

Or maybe introduce fines simply for Driving, oh hang on they do, Road Tax-insurence-petrol tax.
