my auto box has gone again

it was rebuilt 10 months ago

and under 4 thousand miles

it was serviced 1 month ago by the gear box specialist

and has 12 months guarantee

 

the car runs at 15psi and has been chipped,

decated and induction.

will the garage say the car is not standard so no guarantee?

i can take the boost tips out easy,so it will run at standard boost

any advice on this or personal experience on the matter

(no manual conversion suggestions please!!!)

did you have an aftermarket oil cooler fitted??

 

If not why not? and also I am led to believe that if no oil cooler is fitted the garage (whoever that may be) will not guarantee it!! (Not sure if that's just one place or not!)

Not sure how it works but surely they should cover any work they did on the gaurantee they supplied on the Autobox no matter what you have had done to the rest of the car...???

any excuse to waiver guarantee

any one had the same prob??

if the mods were on the car when the box was fitted the gaurantee should stand, unless it was pointed out at the time. If they were not well bit of a tricky one. they should supply parts fit for use at the time of inspection. But in real terms there is not alot you can do without a lenghty and expensive process.

I cannot believe its gone again!!!!!!!!!! i suggest if in doubt do not tell them [the garage i mean] they cant prove the car has been chipped unless they have dyno equipment.....do they have such a thing? just keep on there backs to get it sorted asap and to no charge to yourself.
