my daily drive is about to get a body kit and makeover. It currently sports Stillen breaks, hicas remover, induction and braided lines. Has a Hayward and Scott custom exhaust.

 

So assuming body kit, respray and rims are going to cost 5K leaves me with 2K to play with.

 

What wouold you go for

Personally I would spend more money making the car run better. You can put a body kit on any time and I think a lot of kits ruin the look of the car.

OK just done a recap on what I have already done to the car, or in my case paid my mechanic to do on the car.

 

new cams, new variable hydrolic timing grear which cost a fricking fortune, underdrive pully, water pump and timing belts etc. Complete wiring loom and sencors (ouch) new break master cylinder. Stillen brakes, hicas remover, induction. Hayward and scott custome exhaust. New injectors.

 

so i have 2-3 k left to play with.

 

I was going to go out and buy a 350 but the wife wants a bloody crappy peugeot, dont ask.

why new cams? are they still stock ? if not you should have ditched the vvc and gone for verniers?

 

ok so include the wide arse in the body kit then...... some toys - a good boost contrller something like the profec e-01 - and racelogic traction control - i have to say go for nismo 555 injectors runing 14-15psi the standard injectors are working pretty hard - then uprated intercoolers - isnt chris doing a deal on some?

just got stock turbos, cams had a problem so replaced with fast road from jim wolf, not much of a difference there. Injectors are stock. Baring in mind I uses this daily, I would like to be keeping the fuel down as much as possible (well within reason).

 

Would prob prefer to make the car go round corners better so trac controle looks like a must.

Ill get to the turbos at a leter date. cams needed changing and they were chepr than stock by $6 lol

 

Ok going to order traction control with lauch. thats 800 smackers.

I dont think cams will do anything with stock turbos.

 

I agree, re-profiled cames tend to take advantage of higher revs on higher boost. I would have thought with non stock cams though verniers would have been a must.

 

Just to repeat myself - get a greddy profec e-01 bost controller ;)
