Finally got round to taking some pics of my 1st car:S

 

Passed my test 11 days ago but have had the car since February.

 

Hope you guys dont mind me posting this.

 

Mods so far:

 

Clarion headunit

Kenwood 6X8`s in doors

Clarion tweeters on dash

kenwood 5" coaxels in rear

Kenwood KAC-823 amp

Two 12inch Kenwood subs

Matrix energy 15inch alloys

Green neons under dashboard :slap: me

 

Mods to come:

 

Abarth rear spoiler

Lower 35mm all round

Rage back box

Maybe a KnN 57i at a later date.

Im not a boy racer who has all bass and thats it, the system sounds alrite, need to get better cable in.

 

But yer its my 1st car and im chuffed with it :dance:

my first car was a Daihatsu Charade 1.0 cs 5 door 1986 on a D reg. Went like SH** of a shovel for a small car. Fiat's are ok had a punto 2 for a while. but your car has potential. :cool:

You guys are lucky, I started out with a 1977 Honda Civic 1.2!!!!!!!!!

 

Great little car though :D and it was Japanese :tongue:

 

But the thing is, we all have to start somewhere, and probably not always where we'd like to.

what wattage is your amp?

The amp and subs are about 7 or 8 years old and are 75RMS each channel at 2ohm.

I had my lessons in a 1.8 '79 cav in 1988 when I passed, heh then I had a 'wee bump' in the first week of driving after arguing with me mother that I wasn't taking corners too fast :rofl:

 

oversteeerrrrr argh...central divider...... look of smugness on my mums face was classic. slightly dented wing... severely dented ego ;)

 

 

also had a bravo on lease the exact same as that... they're not bad wee cars

Remember to keep ya eyes peeled for sneaky scamera vans etc. tho! specially as you've only got 6 points to play with.

My next car was a Dolomite 1500HL and that poor thing went through the wars, exploding engine on the M25, 2 break ins and 2 minor accidents, could say I cut my teeth on the poor thing. :D

fairplay m8 my first car was a escort 1.8d van broke down more times than i can remember but it was a ford able then i had a bmw 316 then a 318i got bored of being a snob then bought a z im only 22 so the insurance hurts :cry: but who cares i love it

soz, reason i ask is i think u might be under powering your subs!?!?! what is the wattage of your subs?

Think they can take 300RMS each. Iv got another amp waiting to go in which is 150RMS. So they will each be getting that soon. They may be under powered but it sounds alrite.
