had them done through my local car parts store at the cost of £80 for the plunum and another £40 for the water pipes and balance bar .ill be getting the number to contact them direct this week and will pass it on here ;)

Bunch of tarts

(I am only jealous of ur shiney bits ;) )

That is good then. I thought people were paying sh1t loads to get their plenum polished iirc?

I think SE charge £500 just for the plenum

bloke on ebay was doing them for 250 but appears to have stopped now, i don't know if there is a difference between polishing and chroming however, i take it polishing take a lot longer

I am actually in the process of polishing a spare plenum I have at the moment and it is a long and messy job. If I had found someone who could do it for 80 notes then I probably would have let them do it.

Don't be daft! Not that I can remember what they actually charged me (if it was anything at all). But it weren't 500 fickin quid!

I thought Mac got his done for around the £200 mark and that included removal and refitting. I thought that was quite a good price.

Yeah, that sounds more like it (like mine, Macca's /had/ to be removed anyway). Mike - you saw the 1st one, and OK, it looked like cr*p. But the second one is much better. It's still not flattened down the sides, just like Marshalls pic. Oh, and SE don't chrome them either, just flatten and polish.

the whole thing is chromed just looks darker where the metal hasnt been flattened

What do you mean flattened?

  • 5 weeks later...

Gonna have a go at polishing mine myself.
